The Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS) is an assessment, skills tracking system, and functional skills curriculum used by teachers, parents, and other professionals. The AFLSonline™ is an innovative cloud-based online version of the AFLS. This adds many new and exciting features while providing the same content that is found in the books.
AFLS training will detail the reasons to use the AFLS over other assessments, why functional skills should be prioritized as a focus of intervention in learners with ASD and other developmental disabilities, and how to administer, score, and use the results to select skills to teach. Teaching strategies, data collection, and other practical information will be provided.
Trainings for the AFLSonline™ will focus on content and the features only available on this platform.
AFLS training can be scheduled for a 3-hour half day, 6-hour full day, or two 6-hour days depending on the depth of training required, how much focus is needed on the aspects of program creation and teaching functional skills that typically follow the AFLS, and the balance of AFLS vs. AFLSonline™ required for the training.
As the co-author of the AFLS, Dr. Mueller has delivered AFLS training all over the United States and Canada, and in different countries around the world. Training can be for a small focused group or team or for a large audience.
The AFLS training are done in partnership with Functional Living Skills. Please contact info@functionallivingskills.com for pricing and availability.
